Les frontières sont fermées, les vols sont suspendus et des pays entiers sont bloqués. Tu avais peut-être l'envie de rester solidaire, d'acquérir de nouvelles compétences et de faire des nouveaux amis et nouvelles amies ! 

Nous  avons la solution, il est toujours possible de rencontrer des gens du monde entier mais cette fois-ci en restant à la maison et en ligne ! Alors, rien de plus simple pour toi que de rejoindre un chantier virtuel et faire du volontariat d'une autre manière. Sans frais d’inscription, ni de participation !

«Créativité au-delà des frontières»  du 4 au 8 mai

Passe quelques soirées de manière créative en participant à divers ateliers de création, à travers l'improvisation, la musique et l'art.

«Conscience - faire face au stress et à l'anxiété» du 4 au 8 mai

Explore les avantages d'une pratique régulière de la pleine conscience, comment et où la pratiquer, les défis particuliers que tu peux rencontrer, la recherche scientifique et ce qu'elle t’apporte.

«Maintenez votre bien-être» du 11 au 16 mai

Apprends  à  relever  des  défis  dans  ton esprit  et dans  ton  corps  grâce à des  ateliers  de méditation, de yoga, de pilates, de danse, de musique et de nutrition. Rencontre des gens du monde entier, trouve une nouvelle inspiration et ressent une énergie collective

1) Presporkovo Family Centre

Organisation: INEX in Slovakia

Description: Presporkovo family centre is a non-profit organisation established by mothers on a maternity leave from Bratislava. The aim of the centre is to provide meaningful program for families with children. As there is no chance to meet and organize cultural, sport and educational activities at the moment, the volunteers can help online by creating short educational language videos. The first days will be focused on preparation of videos. The kids are 3-10 years old. Short videos will be published on youtube, through which children can learn foreign languages. Videos do not need to be professional and the workcamp will be lead by the leader.

Duration:   16.-30. April

Daily: 1 hour / day

Requirements: English language, internet, camera and microphone. 

2) IVS from home

Organisation: CCIVS - worldwide

Description: Let us introduce to you the #IVSfromhome challenge! And you will wonder: What is it about? We ask volunteers and/or activists, board members and staff of organisations to record videos explaining 5 tips that future volunteers should know if they want to volunteer in the country where your organisation is based. There can be more than one person in the video (i.e. 5 people and each of them explains one tip). Click HERE to view the example for Hungary! 

Duration:  whenever your video is ready 

Daily: 1 hour / day

Requirements: The video has to be recorded vertically,  at home. It should be in English, clear and understandable. No editing required! 

Environmental Projects

3) Eco friendly cleaning products
 

Organisation: SAVWA in South Africa
 

Description: While the only way to become more eco friendly when it comes to keeping your house clean is not to make your products yourself, it is fun to understand which products you could use that are already in your pantry, and find out which ingredients to look for when you are shopping for products. For this workshop, we would post different cleaning solutions/facts about ingredients/pro tips/DIY product ideas once a day. 

Duration:  1-2 weeks 

Daily: 30 min

Requirements:  English language, internet, camera and microphone.

4) Home Gardening Bootcamp 
 

Organisation: SAVWA in South Africa

Description: Home Gardening Project in your very own space: We were of the idea of a home gardening training where participants can take part in preparation of their home garden through online training. We have a trainer here Dorcas and me whom can share basic skills and what is needed to prepare a small garden in a short period of time. 

Duration: 13.-17. April (one week for starters)
 

Daily:  Participants can dedicate 30 to 45 minutes for doing a task and continue with that particular task offline too. Bootcamp emails will be sent out daily at 11am and resources will be in the Facebook Group each morning and afternoon.  

Requirements:  Basic items and space to do the project in their home maybe on a roof top or balcony if they have no space in the garden as such. Facebook account to join the Group, which is a closed community.

5) Plant-based cooking and baking class

Description: we feed ourselves to stay alive, but do we really need animal products to achieve that? This workshop would provide an insight into plant based food, with recipes and tips and tricks to cook and bake. Every day we would prepare a dish, either a main course or a dessert. The participants would share their final creations through photos. 

Duration: Start from 6th of April possible, Mon-Fri
 

Daily: 1-2 hours

Requirements:  Internet, smart phone, basic English skills

7) Fun Environmental Quiz
 

Organisation: SEEDS in Iceland
 

Description: Are you the kind of person that enjoys random fun facts, but also loves to do research on your own? Perfect, then join us in this workshop, where we will post a question about environmental topics every Tuesday and Thursday, and then it will be up to you to find an answer. The following morning though you will be able to put your knowledge to the test, when we post the answers. And the best part: not that it is a competition, but if you find and comment the correct answer first, you get the bragging rights until next question pops up ;) 

Duration: Every Tuesday and Thursday

Daily: around 1 hour

8) Shared Diary

Organisation: IBG in Germany
 

Description: Let's stay connected and tell each other about what we experience in our daily life. One day we are going to meet online and speak, the other day we write a diary entry. In this way we reflect on ourselves, share a little life time with the group, and practice English language.

Duration: April 17th-26th

Daily: 30 min

Requirements:  English language, internet, camera and microphone.

9) Taskmaster

Organisation: Concordia in France
 

Description: Taskmaster - stay at home version (just a fun daily activity based on the show Taskmaster) Every day participants get a certain task and have to send a photo or short video of a specific item from their home to the taskmaste The Camp leader / taskmaster will rank them and give points (highly subjectiv of course) and present the results..

Duration: April 14th

Duration: 1 or 2 weeks possible

Daily: 10 minutes!

Requirements:   Participants need to share a photo or video of the completed task 

10) Yoga and Meditation

Organisation: GHD in Turkey
 

Description: Description: Since most of us staying at home these days, it could be a great motivation for international volunteers to e-meet up and do some yoga excersises and meditation together. 

Duration: flexible

Daily: 1 hour

Requirements: Internet-connection, speakers, ideally microphone and webcam 

11) Intercultural Food recipes exchange

Organisation: ANEC in France
 

Description: Each participant will share a recipe that is typical from his country and make a video of how to cook it and share it in the group. One recipe will be shared per day and once the other participants will have tried out the recipe they will share their feedbacks with the others. The participants can also share a bit of their culture along with the recipe of the dish. It will be a way of sharing your culture and to spread the message that even if we can't travel physically there are other ways to travel and share our cultures. 

Since we are in a period of restriction, the idea will be to share the ingredients of your recipe on the first day of the camp so that everybody can go shopping once for the whole workcamp. Also please think of recipes that include ingredients that everybody can find and seasonal products.

Duration: From Aril 15th during 1 week

Daily: 1-2 hours

Requirements: English language, internet, camera and microphone.

12) Bring Sally Up Fitness Challenge

Organisation: IBG in Germany
 

Description: Description: for anyone who is missing the physical work aspect of workcamps or just generally tired of sitting around the house, we will meet regularly for "Bring Sally Up"-workouts. The idea is to meet regularly at a certain time via e.g. zoom, start the song at the same time and see how far we can get in the challenge (you are welcome to turn on the camera during the challenge, but not mandatory). We can start with squats and then move on to other exercises. 

Duration: flexible 

Daily: 15 minutes every 2-3 days

Requirements: internet-connection, speakers, ideally microphone and webcam

14) Learn how to play the Guitar!

Organisation: IBG in Germany
 

Description: When better than now for picking up a new beautiful hobby like the guitar?

If you have an interest learning guitar and getting a foot into the door to the realm that is called music, I will be happy to share with you what knowledge I have about it!

 What you will learn in this camp:

Basic understanding of the instrument (What are the Strings called, why it is the way it is)

Brief introduction to music theory, just enough so that it makes some sense to you.

Learning the basic chord shapes and how to play a simple rhythm

If allowed by time and/or progress, we'll learn a simple classic song like knocking on heaven’s door.

Learning structure:

We will meet 2/3 times a week. In the video sessions I will give you some input so you can learn in groups or alone at your own will and motivation. Alongside the obvious guitar teaching I will also advise you to some nifty apps, websites and tools you can use for managing the guitar and to ease the learning process. (These will range from tuning apps to chord sheet- websites).

Duration: April 15th

Daily: 45 to 60 min

Requirements:  English, Internet, Microphone, Guitar (Maybe you can borrow one if you don’t have one at home) and the motivation to learn a new skill.

15) Speaking Clubs

Organisation: GHD in Turkey
 

Description: Stop Being Quiet Speak & Learn Speaking Clubs English, Russian, Portuguese, Greek, German, and more!

Objectives of the workcamp are:

Motivate people who learn a foreign language and create a brave space for them to speak.

Bring different people from different countries to see that we have common language problems in many places.

Let people learn from each other with a facilitator support and with a half structured curriculum.

Supply solidarity between countries in these days of corona.

Learning outlines:

Improve online public speaking skills.

Improve foreign language speaking skills.

Learn new grammar rules and vocabulary.

Learn from each other.

Not to be afraid to make mistakes while speaking another language .

Duration: April 8th to 7-10 days

Daily: 1-2 hours

Requirements: A1  to B1 speaking level. Internet-connection, speakers, ideally microphone and webcam 

16) International Sign Language Lessons

Organisation: IBG in Germany
 

Description: Description: Sign language is a way to comunicate for people with limited hearing or speech abilities.

Gestures differ from one country to another, but for a long time an international sign language has been developed and that is what the attention will be given in this project to. Every day we will learn new gestures, practice together online, and, as a result of our collaboration, record a video on a topic that we choose ourselves and post it on social media. Do not waste your time, but become more unique with the ability to speak sign language. 

Duration: from April 15th, 10-14 days crashcourse project

Daily: 1 hour

Requirements: Good internet-connection, headset would be cool and web-camera 

17) Photography: EXPLAINED

Organisation: SEEDS in Iceland 
 

Description: Confused with all those jargons? Want to know the basic operation of a camera? How to take pictures at night time? The online workshops will provide photography tips on different topics. Plus a 15 minutes Q&A session. Participants can also join the weekly photography challenge that will be published on SEEDS Instagram channel. 

Duration: 2 weeks

Daily: 30-45 min

Requirements: Internet, DSRL camera (full/ non-full frame), mobile phone with camera function 

18) Conscious Consumerism

Organisation: Seeds in Iceland
 

Description: ou will brainstorm and discuss together about three topics from everyday life where you could take measures to lower your environmental footprint (use as little packaging, chemicals and materials as possible). You will work in three different teams and then will present your ideas to everybody involved in the workshop, while I (the camp leader) will support you with some additional thoughts that I have prepared. Over the next days, one person from each team is encouraged to try at least one of the ideas at home and take a video or a picture showing it, letting the others know how they found it - feedback, improvements, challenges, new ideas. In the same time, another person from each team will research about the environmental policy of a brand or company they normally use and try to look for more sustainable alternatives, sharing their findings with the others.

Duration: April 13th during 5 days

Daily: 30 min

Requirements:   English language, camera, microphone, some basic ideas about conscious consumerism would help, but are not compulsory 

19) DIY- home made selfcare products

Organisation:  Seeds in Iceland
 

Description:Description: let's find out together how to DIY your own natural cosmetic products with ingredients that you can probably find at home! 

Duration: 1 week

Daily: 30 min

Requirements:  English language, internet, camera and microphone.
