Mittraparb Samakee Foundation (Thong Sia Siang Teung) was found in 1956. The foundation has helped for the local Hat Yai area for 62 years. The foundation was established regarding conflagration, inundation and windstorm work. The assistant will prepare to help as the rescue in emergency case all 24 hours. They are the rescue professional working volunteers and staffs has been trained before working on the rescue situation. There are many accidents on the road every day, especially the festivals day, in Hat Yai city because Hat Yai city is one of the economic centers of southern Thailand. It sometimes happens to the foreigners. Malaysian and Singapore people are the most tourist in Hat Yai city. Many Thai volunteers cannot speak English or communicate, so it will be a good opportunity for the staff that they can try to communicate with the volunteer by another language. Furthermore, the project hopes that Thai staffs and the volunteer can share and learn the new knowledge and experience about the rescue team.

The volunteer works as a first aid team in rescue term to take the patient to the hospital, and any other work to help people from an accident or emergency case. The volunteer needs to have experience training rescue of the first aids. The first aid team works all 24 hours. They can be divided into 2 teams. A team has 13 assistants. The first team will start to work at 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. as the day shift, and the second team will continue work at 8 p.m. – 8 a.m. as the night shift. It means 12 hours per one team. They will switch the working duration; day shift and night shift for every 15 days. However, the volunteer can plan and decide with the staff to work on working duration. Moreover, the volunteer will not help them to work in the emergency case, but the volunteer can help another work, such as taking the Thai patient who is bedridden from their home to the hospital, or the hospital to their home.

Emplacement & Temps libre

There are many beautiful tourist attractions in Songkhla province. We would like to recommend the Hat Yai Municipality Park, Samila Beach, and Songkhla Old Town. Hat Yai Municipality Park – The biggest public park in Hat Yai city where the local people come to take a relax. Moreover, there is a big Buddha on the top of the Ko Hong hill around the area of the public park. You can take the public car at the park to the hill. There you can see the beautiful view of Hat Yai city. Samila Beach – The main beach of Songkhla province. There is full of history and storytelling about the Samila Beach and the small islands from the beach. Songkhla Old Town – The original town of Songkhla can tell many stories in that period. You can visit, find some typical food and take the photo with the beautiful walls and buildings. You can find more information at:
