VỤN Arts’ main productline consists of fabric collages inspired by folk paintings, but they also produce t-shirts, tote bags, wallets, etc. and turn them into works of art.
Key Program Areas :
-Providing sustainable job opportunities for people with disabilities,
-Vocational training for people with disabilities,
-Running a workshop series: Assemble folk paintings from recycled products,
-Offering tours to visit Vạn Phúc Village,
-Introducing Vietnam’s folk culture, Vạn Phúc Village’s traditional silk products, and the talents of members of VỤN Art to the participants,
-Recycling of leftover silk and creation of sustainable products.
Volunteers should :
-Have experience in video production (content research skills, planning/scripting, shooting a video, editing skills, etc.)
-Have experience in content creation on popular social media platforms if possible
-Be interest in social media related topics in general
-Be creative, friendly and communicative
-Have excellent written and spoken English
-Be proactive and open minded
The minimum duration is 2 weeks and the amount of the participation fee is 400€ for 2 weeks. Each additional week is 100€ more.
Interns and volunteers are needed to help with some of the tasks below (not necessarily all of the tasks):
-Research: market, audience, competition... (overseas market),
-Edit English translation content for Youtube videos & some other reporting documents if necessary,
-Brainstorm content ideas for Facebook & Instagram,
-Support & participate in scripting & video recording on Tiktok,
-Teach the staff English.
Working Hours : Morning: 9:00 - 12:00 Afternoon: 14:00 -16:00
Volunteers will stay in a shared house/apartment for the volunteers. They will share their meals and the food will be provided by the hosting organisation.
The project is about 1 hour by bus from the accommodation. The volunteers will need to pay the local transportation by themselves.
Volunteers are free on week-ends wan they can travel and explore Vietnam alone or together with the other volunteers.
