The Centre “Arthur Regniers” hosts people suffering from cerebral palsy or from other motor disabilities.
The aims of this Medical and Teaching Institute is to provide educational support, health care and well-being to the teenagers and adults of the centre and also lend support to their families.
The centre provides an open-space, various activities, and technical support in order to promote the social, professional and cultural autonomy of the residents.

The meeting point is at Binche station on 7 august at 16 PM. Someone will pick you up.

In Belgium, there are two international airports : Bruxelles-Zaventem (in the city of Brussels) and Bruxelles-Charleroi (in the city of Charleroi)
- It takes around 1h45 from Bruxelles to Binche.
- It takes 1h20 from Charleroi to Binche.

Informations supplémentaires
Basic knowledge of French would be useful as residents usually don’t speak English. However, motivation remains the most important criteria to participate in this workcamp.
Language of the camp will be English.
People who have mental or physical disabilities are more than welcome on this workcamp. Please, just send us a email on hosting@javva.org so we can organise ourself.
Remarques
* This project targets people who are motivated to work with persons with disability and aware that this context may be emotionally challenging. A portion of the residents indeed bear heavy handicaps.
* Please also keep in mind that the centre is quite isolated.
* Volunteers are invited to bring with them small activity/presentation of their native country (music, food, …).
