Volunteers should manage their own food. They can have the meals together with the host family or buy the food in the food stall.

The project is located in the coastal area of Pekalongan, the village itself is the northernmost village.
Pekalongan city is 5km away from the village, it famous of the Indonesian traditional clothes called Batik. The volunteers can visit the Batik Museum and Batik Market at the weekend. Shopping mall, cafe, and cinema are available in the city.
