Oro de Prioro is an English-teaching workcamp designed to provide local children and teenagers with a fun and engaging language-learning experience outside the traditional classroom setting. Volunteers will play an active role in co-creating and leading workshops in English for a group of approximately 30 local participants. Together, volunteers will design games, activities, and interactive sessions that encourage children to use and practice English in a natural, playful environment. The goal is to create a space where language learning happens organically—through creativity, play, and meaningful interaction. This workcamp is not just about language; it's about cross-cultural exchange and building connections. Through workshops, sports, games, outdoor activities, group discussions, and excursions, volunteers will help foster a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere where kids can explore both the English language and other cultures. While Spanish language skills are a plus, they are not required—enthusiasm, creativity, and a willingness to connect are what truly matter. Volunteers will work approximately 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday. In the mornings (around 09:00–13:00), they will spend time directly with the children, facilitating activities.
