PARTENAIRE

This little animal rescue center is located in Macas, Province of Morona Santiago. It started to work since 2006 as a rescue center with some species of wild animals, rescued from citizens who catched them for pets and who had them in very bad conditions. The Center had rescued mammals, reptiles, birds, etc. they started bailing a tapir. The Center ensures the animals have good living conditions and atmosphere required for their mobility, and simulate their habitat for recovery. Its mandate is: To give protection and shelter to the animals who were victims of bad treatment and were illegally hunted. This program is offered for individuals, the volunteer work with the Coordinator and the local worker.

For those who don’t have more than one backpack and want to save money you can take the bus from the new airport to the Terminal Quitumbe this public service is available until 20:00pm you need to arrive no more lately of 18:00pm to the new airport to have enough time to take the last bus, the cost is $ 2, 50 when you arrive to the TERMINAL QUITUMBE, please take a taxi to come home the cost is between $4,00 to $5,00 dollars, after this time, taxi is the only available transportation. Travail

  • To give a place where the animals can live when they lost their skills to feed and protect themselves.
  • To give medical assistance to the sick animals or animals who were recuperated from illegal hunters.
  • To educate the community make awareness in benefit of the animals.

Accommodation is in the zoo, three meals per day.
