The activities will take place in Maribo, Sakskøbing, and Nakskov, so during the stay, you will visit different parts of Lolland. We get to know each other and to Work Camp activities at a Glamping site. We will go there by car for approximately 20 minutes. Here activity examples are: Building outdoor furniture, making videos, setting up tents, helping with practical tasks, making breakfast, and more. The time here will help us get to know each other before work during the week, when you may be working in pairs at different locations.
During the week, you will be helping with logistics and promotion. You will attend the concerts and help with taking pictures, distributing t-shirts, carrying instruments, and driving a bus (if you have an EU driver's license). If you want, you can also be part of one of the choirs, or bands or in other ways participate in activities during the week.

Logement & nourriture
Accommodation:
The volunteers will be hosted at two different places. First at Naturlig På Korsgården - a Glamping site 15 kilometers from Maribo with beautiful lakes and outdoor activities (check https://naturligpaakorsgaarden.dk). Then for the rest of the work camp the volunteers will be hosted at a hostel located in Maribo, the town where the majority of the activities will take place.
If you do not wish to share rooms with the rest of the Work Camp volunteers of different genders, then let us know and we will find a solution. If you are going with someone you know, and you are okay to share a double bed please let us know. The hostel is located within walking distance of the Music School from which will be one of the meeting points.
Food:
At the hostel, there is a common room with kitchen facilities, where you can prepare your meals or just relax. The host will purchase your groceries. At the glamping site, there is the option to make food on fire with all the equipment you’ll need. On some days lunch and dinner may also be provided.
Bathroom Facilities:
There will be bathroom and shower facilities at the hostel. You will have to bring linen and bed covers, and the hostel will provide the rest.
It will be possible to wash your clothes at the hostel for a small charge. You can also buy the linen and bed covers if you don’t want to bring them.
Emplacement & temps libre
Maribo is a small town in the center of Lolland, known for its lakes, where you can go for walks or go kayaking.
Currently, Lolland hosts the construction site of the Femern Belt Tunnel, which is a huge project worth visiting. It is also worth visiting the smaller islands on the coast of Lolland or some of the beautiful nature parks or historic towns. Your Work Camp coordinators or contact person will help you and the group with organizing activities in your spare time. It is free to enjoy the beautiful nature of Lolland, but some activities might require an extra charge. The host will not cover additional charges.
