To enhance the value of the fort and allow a better understanding of its structures through:
- Planning, plant cleaning.
- Introduction to archaeological stratigraphy.
- Introduction to field drawing.
- Introduction and development in the cleaning, treatment and recording of archaeological material.
- Introduction to drawing archaeological pieces.
- Dissemination of archaeological sciences for the socialisation of cultural heritage.
Logement & nourriture
The accommodation will be at t Serdio Hostel (C/ Poblado Serdio, 11 -Antiguas escuelas- Serdio, Val de San Vicente). Services: Rooms with bunk beds (sleeping bag required) in shared rooms, showers and toilets separated by gender: two showers for women and two for men, hot water, heating and meeting room.

FOOD:
Meal service will include breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. Alternative menus may be provided by justified reasons, which must be specified at the time you book the activity. The meal will be in pic-nic format when there is any outing or excursion.

Castro del Castillo is located in Prellezo, a municipality in Val de San Vicente (western Cantabria), about 65 km from Santander, the capital of the community.
It is located on a peninsula-shaped promontory and most of it is bordered by steep sea cliffs. It is a place surrounded by nature and also has numerous beautiful beaches.
Castro del Castillo has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest with the category of archaeological zone.
