Travail

24 September School (24SS) is located in a remote village of Kampong Speu Province, where many teenagers face limited opportunities and often turn to construction or factory work due to poverty and a lack of access to education. For many families here, survival takes priority over schooling. Since 2014, Cambodian Youth Action (CYA) has been working closely with this community, providing English language classes and supporting the renovation of classrooms to create better learning environments. In a village where foreign visitors are rare, the presence of international volunteers brings excitement and hope—offering students a chance to learn new skills, connect with the world, and dream bigger. By joining this program, you’ll not only help improve education but also experience meaningful cultural exchange, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of these children and their community. The project activities are: - Teach English & Life Skills - Renovate School Facilities & Build a Library - Organize Cultural & Recreational Activities

Logement & nourriture vegetarian

Volunteers will stay in a shared house with a host family, equipped with basic amenities for a comfortable stay. Each volunteer will have a mattress, pillow, blanket, and mosquito net. Shower and toilet facilities are available on-site. Meals are prepared by a local chef, with volunteers expected to help with serving, cleaning, and dishwashing. Those interested can also join the cooking team to learn local recipes.

Emplacement & temps libre

During free time and weekends, volunteers at DCC can explore Battambang’s cultural sites, such as ancient temples and the Bamboo Train, or enjoy cycling tours in the countryside. They can also relax at local cafes, try traditional Cambodian dishes, or socialize with fellow volunteers.
