Introduction
Ebulonga Child support Group is an initiative of the Ebulonga community village which aims at educating the orphaned and the vulnerable children as well as giving compassionate care to the children. As a result of high prevelance rate of HIV/AIDS the rate of school drop out in the region was quite alarming thus forcing the community to come up with an immediate solution to combat the situation. The then formed group provides basic care by feeding the children, mentoring them and offering both formal and nonformal education in order to create a better educational feature for the people of Ebulonga and Kenya as a whole.

Workcamp activities
The volunteers will engage in the feeding program by preparing meals for the children, serving as well as washing the dishes and working on the group’s farm by engaging in traditional farming. The volunteers will also take part in brick making actvities as well as fetching sand from the river for the construction of the new classes. In the afternoon the volunteers will be involved in outdoor activities that include school visits, workshops and home visits. Volunteers are to work for a maximum of 5-6 hours a day. Weekends volunteers will take part in excursions to laern more about the area, and also have some free time for themselves.
