Jovenes de Buena Voluntad is a non-profit civil association of

entirely voluntary character without any political or religious

affiliation. It encourages, promotes, and facilitates the participation

of young people in voluntary actions of solidarity that contribute to

the local community; thus making these young volunteers direct

contributors to development within their own communities.

At Jovenes de Buena Voluntad we aim to promote the positive

development and formation of our young voluntary agents – based

on the principal that JBV is essentially run by young people, and for

young people.

We envisage that this will help form young people who are leaders

and responsible citizens; ready to form a generation of young adults

who are competent, confident and committed to helping our

community.

What do we do?

We realize Voluntary Service; the most effective way of contributing

to the sustainable development of our community. We do this

y because we believe in the strength and the giving spirit of our

youth; who promote and generate values of solidarity amongst the
young people of both our community, and our exchange partner
communities.


Our Objectives


General Objectives:

To promote and foster the participation of youth in actions of

voluntary service as a part of their contribution to the development

of their own community; highlighting their work as agents of change

and sustainable development.

Specific Objectives

To generate a neutral space where the youth of our community feel

enabled and inspired to realize and develop their skills and abilities;

both as individuals and collectively.

For youth voluntary service to act as a catalyst for social change.

Thus contributing to an improved quality of life and a more positive

sense of local identity.

To promote values of solidarity between the young people and their

community.
